Treadmill Installation & Assembly

Once your treadmill assembly is complete, you might think it leaves you only two choices – walk, or run. You can assemble a treadmill workout to be as simple or as complex as you need it to be at any fitness level. Switching up your routine can also help diminish boredom and burnout. Countless web pages are devoted to describing various treadmill workouts, but here are four of our favorites to get your blood pumping.

To Build Speed: Run at a comfortable pace for 10 minutes, then set the pace up to 20 seconds per mile faster than your best pace and go for 3 minutes. Then do a slow job for 3 minutes. Do 3 sets, and then jog for 5 minutes. Then run another 3 sets. To cool down, jog for a final 5 minutes.

Training to Hike: Walk at 3.5 miles per hour with no incline, then increase the incline every minute until it reaches 5 percent. After 3 minutes, lower and raise the belt every 2 minutes until you've exercised for 25 minutes. Lower the belt and decrease your speed for 5 minutes to cool down.
